I MISS STAYING IN CHURCH!!
had mission trip for a week so i stayed over in church for a week and it was amazing
day 1:
we all went to this malay lady's house to paint her living room and kitchen, it was tiring but fun and i got paint all over me. we painted her house from morning to evening then had dinner then went home.
day 2 :
met OPQ in the morning for cip at the library first before meeting the church people. when i met them, they had already finish painting one house already, so the next activity is to visit the kids at BASC, wah i tell you its like HELL, i shout until i almost lost my voice. they keep running around and dont listen to us so in the end we gave up our games and let them play whatever they like. later had dinner and this time i stayed over.
day 3:
woke up damn early in the morning and was suppose to paint another person's house but the lady was sick so its not convenient to paint her house so we went to clean kopi stop instead then after that we were thinking of what to do so we decided to just go back and rest.
day 4:
woke up earlier than day 3, we made our way down connaught drive to distribute bibles and jesus films to the china tourists. at the start very little people take then slowly more and more took the bible, even better, this whole group came up to us and ask for bibles. after distributing the bibles we took a cab back to rest for a while and again went to BASC to play games with the kids and this time with rules set the kids were more easy to manage. the game that me and abi played was captain's ball but this time with not a ball, its with cabbage and bananas. me and abi had fun and so did the kids.
day 5:
went to connaught drive again to distribute bibles but it rained really heavily but thank GOD that even if it rained there was this guy who took the whole box from us and then later gave out the bibles to everyone in his tour bus we took a cab back and rest and then later go for prayer walk.
day 6 :
we played games with the dover residents and helped the BASC teachers to wrap some stuff. that was what we only did in the day but at night was crazy, weiliang my mission leader treat us all to pizza and we all went high, later that night me both abis nat and ben ask the security to let us out for a while then when we want to come back, the security guard didnt see us and so we were locked outside so we tried to climb in from the side gate me and abi didnt want to climb in so we had no choice but to tell our mission leader about it and we all got scolding but anyway we had fun. we stayed over night so the next day we woke up for service.
that week was nothing but fun and i have learn a lot of things like knowing that God is always with us and that to pray with all my heart and God will answer. oh ya i also learn how to play the guitar and able to play a few songs, so happy!!
i am glad to be in this team with 7 special people: weiliang (mission leader), abigail wong, abigail foo, natalie, benjamin, michele and andrea. i am sure gonna miss you guys
